Godric could feel her smile against his lips and couldn’t help but return in. The reason they had come together like this might now have been the happiest, but it felt good to just be able to kiss the woman he yearned for. Feeling her arms wrap around his neck and pull him closer added to the warmth and longing that was running through his veins at the moment. He was practically on top of her on the couch and he couldn’t imagine a place he’d rather be. 

Godric’s lips were burning against her own. He had such a fiery and passionate essence that was completely different to her own cold and reserved nature. However, it was a perfect match. What Godric made her feel was unlike anything she had felt before and Rowena yearned to keep feeling it. Their passionate kiss continued until she had to pull away in order to catch her breath, her forehead pressed against his and her eyes still closed.
